Our Sun Valley Serenade[1]

[1] Gosh, I’ve written this whole thing and haven’t even
mentioned Sun Valley Serenade! This was
a movie made here in the late1930s, starring Norwegian skater Sonja Henie, and
the Glen Miller Orchestra. Gretchen
Fraser stood in for Henie in the skiing sequences. The movie is more famous for its music: “Chattanooga Choo Choo!” We still haven’t seen it, but are told that
it plays on a continuous loop at the Lodge.
